I did a reset from the button in the glove compartment and both warning signals have now disappeared which shows that they were a false positive. It was worrying for a while, as I was driving on a motorway and when both the tyre and brake fluid warnings came on at the same time, I was a little alarm...

While driving my 160bhp 1.4tsi along the M40, a warning sign about my tyres was displayed followed by the displaying of the warning symbol for brake fluid. Owners Manual

Just taken delivery of my Scirroco and find the owners manual a little difficult to come to terms with, as I don't have a physics degree. On my previous car (Ford Focus) you could go through the various sub menus and when you pressed the back button you eventually returned to the basic display.........
