Any of you guys inspected your alloys recently ? Whilst washing the motor the other day noticed the lacquer peeling off one of the wheels. :eek:

Took it to the dealers and they photographed it and said they would report it to VW and for me to expect a call from them soon with a replacement wheel. I hope this isn't the beginning of a long line of wheel claims as I know the 18" Monzas on the Golf GTi were notorious for the "white worm" corrosion.

Thats not good - I will be fully inspecting my alloys now.

At least VW should replace them.
