DSG Alloy pedals

Post by BAIKAR »

Ive read the topic on these and wanted to know if anyone else has seen a car with the vw matching alloy foot rest. I saw a video on youtube of a car with all three matching pedals. Anyone with access to etka got more details?

not seen a vw oem foot rest on uk cars, there are a few after market options which to me aren't that great, noticed that car in the video has the sliding cupholder with vw bottle opener

yeah because the car is left hand drive the foot rest is completly different in shape tu the foot rest on right handers because of the tunnel in the floor. The one in the movie is just an oblong whereas ours are curved. Can't believe they would go to the trouble of making a matching one for left dsgs and not rights.

I've checked it only appears to be a Left Hand Drive option, the RHD parts only show up as Satin Black - although the part isn't natively available on the Scirocco, but because the Scirocco shares the same DNA as the MK5 Golf - they've ordered the MK5 Satin/Alu brushed part and fitted it on the Scirocco.

Just had my pedals fitted today by my local dealership - (cost only and fitted for free  )

Discussed the foot rest issue and was told that the matching cover for the Roc hasn't been issued yet. Option was to order one for the MKV R32 however we took the pedals and matched it to an R32 sitting on the forecourt and the metal finish was not exact.

Unless something else turns up before hand I think I will wait for the VW cover plate.
