vibration..?

Post by gmyorks »

hi there...ive a scirocco diesel 170, its now done 8000k miles, just had its first service and ive noticed a vibration at and around 1300 revs, does it more when its warming up or been left for say 3/4 hr from hot, start the car, then hold the revs at 1300 and its vibrates, sounds like the engine dept, passenger side.. :vibes:

Any ideas..? thanks

Had the car into the dealers, and have found the intake/airbox unit and pipework to be vibrating, found it quite quickly to be the problem, the car has to go in for 2 hour visit to be sorted.

I did wounder if this has been a problem on other cars as the mechanic quicky found the problem.
hope it gets sorted... :)
