Is this the Exhaust resonance issue ???

Just noticed it . 11months old 6300 on the clock?

Sounds like someones shaking a tin can full of stones as you excelerate 2000 - 3000rpm

Have a faint recollection of something with a heat-shield that could be bend to fix it...

Wastegate on turbo I believe. Mines been like it for 18 months, no better, no worse but always at the same engine revs. Covered somewhere on other topics here and was thought to be a heatshield at first. You're not alone. I think these things end up being known as 'characteristics' rather than faults as there's no easy way to stop them. Closing the windows and having dynaudio helps.

I have exactly the same (at 12000km's) sounds like the wastegate from my understanding... will check the heatshield though.
