Hello there,
As my car is now built and does not have the bluetooth phone option I wonder if anyone knows the following:
Will the Bluetooth kit just plug in (VW 9W7 Bluetooth KIT RCD RNS MFD ► 7P6 035 730 C ► A2DP) and work or will the car not have the built in Mic etc?
Be happy to know the answer as I have a Golf (courstsey car) atm and it has the bluetooth in and I quite like it!

Its doubtful it will have the Mic or the wiring for the module if you didnt spec it, only way to tell is to remove the interior light panel and see if the mic is there.

As above its pretty easy, its just sussing the clips etc out for the trim that needs to come out, if you dont fancy running the cables to underneath the seat there is a nice space in the glovebox where your manual should be keptmortc002 wrote:182_blue wrote:Its doubtful it will have the Mic or the wiring for the module if you didnt spec it, only way to tell is to remove the interior light panel and see if the mic is there.

I think I know where to get a nice cheap box from. Any ideas where to buy the other wires needed etc? Is rmeoving the interior light manual an easy job?

That seller has everything you need, the interior light is the easy bit, hardest bit is running the cables

Re: New questions on Bluetooth - :-)
The 3C8 is a newer unit than the 7P6, capable of both UHV and RSAP, and it just so happens I am selling one..............
3C8 Bluetooth kit, comes with module, Looming, RSAP aerial and brand new microphone. also has foam holder that sits under the drivers seat, this has a small split in (it is £5 to buy at dealer). Only works with a white DIS, not the red information system. RSAP and UHV capable, pairs perfectly with Iphone. Can also receive SMS when paired with an RSAP capable phone (Nokia, Blackberry), can pair several phones, and can also stream music from phone to car system.
