RCD510 models (confused)?

Well recently been to my local vw dealer and saw that the sciroccos and golfs had this screen:


Yet i have this one in my rocco and on some other forums the new golf and sciroccos (in other countries have this one, which i prefer)


Can annyone elaborate on this by any chance? I mean how do you know which rcd you'd end up getting once you order your car?

I have the same as yours. The colors you get are black or red, green or the ones i posted, but thats not what i was worried about. Why does one have am/fm/whatever the last button is/media/phone setup, and the other one has radio/media/phone/tim/tp/setup? I mean why would thy replace radio by 2 buttons am and fm and why take off tp and tim?

The colour differences on the RCD510 are either 1st posting on here (latest issue) or the lower posted (previous issue). A change is not programmable by the user or VCDS unlike the RNS510.

The button difference is I think the FM/AM is USA market issue, the other Euromarket. Not totally sure. Check the source of your photos.

In Europe you will get the new issue Silver White screen colour with the Radio/Media buttons. Best to check your country's VW website Scirocco brochure for what will be issued.
