What a difference a small thing like smoked glass makes

Saw these pics on the French site.

It's a small thing but the lack of smoked rear glass makes it look less sleek to me.

I've never been into tinting in cars, but since the rears are done I'm seriously considering doing the front ones, just need to find someone to do a top job, I've seen some bad jobs up here and theres no way I want anything less that perfect on my Scirocco.

Yes and its a great job, I think it will be much more noticeable on a White Scirocco, maybe something I'll pursue in the new year not quite got the funds back to where I can spend more cash on the car :D

Also considering a Blufin chip remap...

That's my black one with the front tints, I doubt you'll want to drive to Dorset to get it done! You should be able to find a pro in your area, it's more straightforward than you might think and makes a big difference IMO

Thanks gossa, I don't know anyone up here, so I'll need to find good reviews on one... PS how much should I be looking to pay for just the front ones?

I paid £80 the pair, took about an hour and a half. It's only film on the inside so hard for someone that does it for a living to do it wrong (you'd hope!)

As long as its streak free and won't start to peel or bleed at the edges after 1 week I'll be happy. At least now I know if I'm going to get ripped off, thats the worst thing about having a new car, you go to a joe bloggs garage, they take one look at the car, the plate and its almost double the price instantly.
