My dad had the same issue when he took an Eos over to Tenerife a while ago. Not ideal I know but What they ended up doing was taking the fog light bulbs out (as if it’s not on both or centre it has to be on left as you say) and then adding an after market auxiliary fog light kit to the car (had a relay connected to headlights and a separate switch)
I’m sure there is a proper way to do it but even when they got a used set of rear lights from a Spanish car they didn’t work.
I don’t know if you could find the correct wires for the fog light to the right cluster and splice and run wires to the left hand cluster?
Hope this helps

hello, I didn't deal with the fog lights directly, anyway, if you buy a vag can on aliexpress for the cable, you can use it to adjust the BCM for the year of manufacture 2010 and newer so that the lights are on, otherwise I used it when converting to a facelift trunk
