Installing a Exhaust cutout

I will be getting my 1.4 160hp Scirocco soon and already thinking of making it louder, Thinking of putting an Exhaust cutout on it?

I'm not sure If I should put it between the muffler and resonator, or between the resonator and the Catalytic Converter? How big will the difference be in both positions?
