For starters and just for some back story, the alarm horn hasn't worked for a good 8-10 months. Didn't really notice anything till I went to clear some fault codes caused by my injectors s***ting themselves at the end of last year. Around 6 months ago I had one of the dcc shocks snap close to the top mount, replaced both rears with adjustable coilovers so obviously the dcc button is flashing away, never a problem as my mobile is usually covering it up but obviously fault codes still exist and won't disappear unless I got the dcc delete kit which I plan to do eventually. Also more recently I've noticed the battery earth strap has a hairline crack in it. I'm not sure if any of that is relevant but I just wanted to lay out all the faults with the car so you can get a good understanding of the problems.
Fast forward to a couple of months ago, I noticed I had a sidelight out. Changed the bulb but that didn't sort the problem after clearing the fault codes using carista. As I was pretty broke at the time and because it was summer, I've left the issue as I didn't really need to drive it during dark hours. Obviously with the darker hours drawing closer, I thought it was best if I get the problem sorted now. More recently I've noticed that the side repeater (in the front bumper) has become a little problematic also. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Checked the plugs to the headlights and they seem clean and solid with no signs of corrosion. The wiring looks intact all the way to the bulkhead and the wrap is still intact, no signs of wires splitting or corrosion on the inner wing earth point. Changed both sidelight bulbs a few days ago to eliminate a bad bulb and now BOTH sidelights stopped working
I have ordered and installed a 2nd hand CCM module from fleabay to see if it was the module that was at fault with some screwed up coding maybe. Installed that last night, switched on the ignition but no luck. Also now, the remote central locking is not working despite me doing the key fob transponder reset several times. I've also noticed now that I am getting a fault code in memory which is related to the ambient lighting control, not exactly sure of the fault code exactly at this moment.
Sorry if this has been solved elsewhere but I couldn't find anything. I'm really hoping that someone can help me weed out the problems as I'm ready to set the thing alight at this moment
