ECU software version G 1676

My Scirocco 160hp CAVD last month at the dealer updated the ECU software from G 5859 to version G 1676 manual gearbox, the engine was suffering from cold misfires.
What happens is that after the update I noticed that when I release the clutch pedal the RPM's rises a bit and then stabilizes again in seconds.
I would like to know if this is a normal feature of the version G 1676, and if the same happened to the people who updated to this version?
