DSG issue

Post by Billsrocco »

Hi guys hoping someone can shed some light on a small issue, I have recently bought a 2101 2.0 TDI DSG the car has great service history but my issue is the DSG, the car drives lovely but when I knock it into neutral is make a sort of judder and a bigger issue is it occasionally won't engage reverse.. if I switch the car off and on it works and iv also found pushing the accelerator can make it engage which is not ideal as you can surge backwards! Hopefully someone can shed light and help ease my concerns. Thank you Bill

I have the same issues, I recommend just taking it out of reverse then engaging it again rather than turning the engine off completely, usually works for me. There's also a thread on here where people have spoke about this issue before so you're not the only one luckly
