Can anyone out there help !!!!
I got my car with a DSG 7 gear, but no paddle included.
How do I go about retroffiting a new sterring wheel, What parts will I need and if you have the part No, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks for helping out

This is the first scirocco in Mauritius and unfortunately the local dealer ordered the car without the paddle.

you have to have specced the multifuctional wheel and highline computer to get paddle shifters on the 1.4 tsi dsg.

Pat is correct. Its an option you have to choose and pay extra for I'm afraid. Perhaps your dealer should have explained that to you when you ordered.
I think you'll find retro-fitting the multi-function steering wheel, which is necessary to have the paddles, is very very expensive - far more that the £250 or so list price for factory order.

Thanks for the advice, looks like I'll need to carry on swifting with the gear lever.

I never use the paddles to be honest, using the shift stick feels more manual to me

Paddles are worth it (I use them all the time), but it will be a lot for you to retrofit, as the steering column needs to be taken apart to feed through the cables required - every dealer will tell you the same thing.
