I have seen many people in here with personalised plates that technically don't comply with the law, such as spacing etc. I was just wondering if those with these plates have been stopped much? Do you have spare, normal plates and try saying they were left on after a show or what challenges have you faced?
It would be good to know before I buy a plate that looks poor with correct spacing. On the flip side, I don't want a £1000 fine!
Thanks.

If you don’t want a fine don’t do the crime!

Re: Personalised Number Plate - UK Police
Hi I have 3 cars with illegal spacing , touch wood been okay , but I don't do a lot of motorway journeys and I think I possibly live in an area that's not as prone to getting pulled as others , like I think if I was driving around in the middle of Birmingham every day I may of got stopped
like the reply above you take the risk and get hit with a fine
