Engine light but full power

Post by ZebrasKneecaps »

Morning all

Driving back home yesterday and looked down to see that my engine light on the dash is on, however there is no loss of power or anything like that.

Have any of you had this before? any ideas where to start looking before a costly trip to VW for a diagnostic check?

Thanks all

If there is nothing obvious, tje only thing is to have the fault code read as it could be one of many things.

You could try buying a low cost bluetooth code reader (ELM327) and using one of the apps like Torque to read the code yourself.
