Need advice on removing the mirror caps.

Post by HakonJ »

I'm looking to replace the mirror indicators but can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the caps. From what I've read online you should be able to pry from the outside(between the mirror cap and the indicator)? There seems to be no give when I try and do this, what am I missing here? Any advice on where I should pry and in what direction? Is there another approach to this?

Thanks!
Its an 1,4l 2011 R-Line.

They just unclip. Either use a trim tool or a credit card located between the cap and the black surround to pry them off.

To clarify: Do I pry between the cap and the indicator-strip or between the cap and the black trim on top? I assume the first?
