Currently looking at a vw scirroco from 2011 onwards, 2.0 petrol.
However torque ranges are different from each car, according to auto trader.
2011 torque 150lbs
2009 torque 200lbs
2015 torque 250lbs
Why is there such a difference in the torque ranges and is this just an AutoTrader error.
Don't want a car with 150lbs of torque.
Thanks
TORQUE

Re: TORQUE
Look at a more reliable source as those figures are not correct for the 2.0 petrol.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Scirocco" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The 2.0 petrol torque figures range from 207 lb-ft to 258 lb-ft, depending upon model and year.
The 148 lb-ft figure is for the 1.4, 122bhp engine.
Auto Trader is definetly notbthe place to confirm specs.

Re: TORQUE
First of all that's not an "R" model, it's an "R-Line" model, there is a difference.
However that torque figure is obviously an error on the se ond advert. As I said, don't rely on Auto trader or in fact any other advert as a source of spec information.

What's the difference?
Where do you get your specs from?

Re: TORQUE
The "R" is the flagship model and has either 265PS or 280PS depending on the year. Easy to identify as it has a single oval tailpipe on each side whereas all the other models hasva twin exit tailpipe on the nearside.Winchester wrote:What's the difference?

"R-Line" is a trim and is available in both petrol and diesel guises producing upto 220PS or 184PS respectively. Other trims availavle are "GT" and "GTS"
The wikipedia link I previously posted has a lot of information on trim and engine specs.
