Evening all

So lots planned for the roco over the next few weeks two main things being the H&R springs are being fitted and also getting it remapped however need to ring the insurance tomoz just to see how it's going to affect it,

Was just curious what other fellow roccers are paying or how mods affected your insurance I'm hoping it's not going to be too bad , I currently pay £500 fully comp for me and the Mrs and I have 3 points just went on go compare and put springs and map on and quote was 3K :O

You had better check your company will cover you before driving it after map is done.

I paid £300 fully comp for 10 + years no claims last year with Flux all mods declared ( mods as per my signature) added BCS cat back in November which cost nothing extra not even a change of details fee so really good service.
Looking to add down pipe and rest of exhaust from BCS but need to get brakes done as stock won't cope with extra power ( 22 hp more from down pipe being fitted without the stage 2 map according to Nige at BCS) so intend to check with flux on cost of insurance with all the extra bits done in case I get it done in summer.

Best to ring a specialist insurer that deal with mods. Comparison websites aren't much good for mods. Flux, RH, green light, admiral do some mods too.

I found Sky very good for mods and a few points so would try them. They were somewhat cheaper than Flux and some others.

So rang flux this morning added springs and map only £40 a year extra and that was before the map springs were fine so well chuffed was expecting a lot more than £40 so it's mods away :)
