Hello all,
I get my rocco soon and I'm looking for some advice.
I don't have a covered area to park in, its home will be a private (unsecured) car park for the residents of the estate. Would it be worth buying a car cover to protect it from the elements / vandals? Can anyone recommend a brand to go for or a place to get one?
Thanks,
Tapeloop

Re: Car Covers
I looked into this and almost everybody I spoke too told me to steer clear of them as they can scratch the paintworktapeloop wrote:Hello all,

Re: Car Covers
I would back up CTR on this, if you were putting the cover on and removing it in a clean environment then different story, but in an open car park with the wind and rain I would steer clear as imagine dragging a cover over your not quite clean paintwork..all those dirt and sand particles will make a merry dance all over your shiny finish. Also a cover put on a damp car follwed by a warm sunny day (if you don't use it every day) will genearate a large amount of damp and condensation which while it should not advesrely afffect a new car, will over time lead to faster deterioration of components and finish.
