Car Mats
Car Mats
Hi
Being a little bit of a cheap skate I am a little reluctant to spend £95 on matts for the car. I have seen some on ebay from carmat2fit - item number 310177156987 for £23 including postage. Has anyone bought these? Opinions or does anyone have any suggestions of where else good quality fitted carpets can be purchased for less than the VW price.
Thanks

Car Mats
Halfords do some custom fit mats, £40 for front and rear and very good quality.

Re: Car Mats
I got the luxury mats with my 1st Roc and they didn't look luxury for long. Bought the official rubber mats for the front on the 2nd Roc and 9 months later they're still pretty tidy. Thanks to the lip on them, the dust/grit etc that you walk into the car stays on the mat and can easily be hoovered or brushed out. I paid £27 for the set in my local TPS last June.

Re: Car Mats
My golf GTI came with VW mats. Bought some 'deluxe' mats from another source (not VW) for £40.00 for the Roc. The GTI mats still look pristine after 2 years but those bought off the net are looking tatty after a year. Swings and roundabouts I think.

I asked, and got them thrown in.

Re: Car Mats
I (or should I say my Dad) bought a new set of mats recently from VW for about £38.
