RNS 315 AF-function not working?

RNS 315 AF-function not working?

Hi guys,

I have my new roc for a couple of weeks now and found a small problem with the rns 315.

The AF function from the radio (that automatically changes the frequency of local radiostations when driving across the country) seems not to work. I drive about 40 miles to work and when I'm about 10miles far, it should change the frequency but it doesn't... My wife drives a golf 6 with the RNS 310 and it is crearly audible when it changes frequency. It does so 3 times untill a get to the parking of my company and still plays great. My roc only gives static noise when I arrive at work... Tried the af function switching off and back on but didn't help. I went back to the dealer and they said it might happen with local radiostations. I asked them why the golf with the RNS310 can do so and they where kind of evasive on that question...

They connected it to the pc and no faults where found... They sent me back home but the problem persists...

Anyone noticed this before?

Anyone facing the same problem might be great. If anyone has a solution, would be the best ;-)
