I think the front has a great road presence, but the rear isnt in balance with it, Needs a ovehaul at the back to keep the agressive look continous. from the side it looks nice, but the design at the rear spoils the aggressive look of the car IMO
howver the R roc with diffuser a tail pipes seems more appropriate.
What your thoughts

I like it. I think it has good road presence but maybe doesn't quite have the same 'face' as the rest of the VW range, but that's probably due to the badge being on the bonnet rather than in the grill like all the others. But then maybe that's a good thing. The hips are a little wide but I think it works well as an overall design.
I think the fog lights work better than the DRLs on the R. I think the R looks a little too plain at the front.
It'll be interesting to see what a facelift brings but I think it'll be fairly minimal.
i wouldnt buy any other VW unless it was the R. as im not keen on standard vw cars design. The sole reason i bought the roc, was because its so unique looking to the VW range
The nose is one of the best on the road including high end sports cars!!!
I think the back of the roc looks great! Mines lowered and debadged and the car looks so wide and mean. Possibly the only thing I would change would be fibre optic tail lights like my a3 sport back I had, just think they look smart

Is there a face lift due. When might that come through into productiom cars?
I did ask this question at the dealer recently, but anything they say in this respect has to be taken with a pinch of salt, about 2 years away was the reply.
Exterior wise it's fantastic, and in Viper Green a stunning looker - and judging from other people's reactions, I'm far from alone in this view - I've owned some nice looking cars, but none has ever had the reaction the Scirocco gets. Only thing I don't like is the ride height (or more specifically, the wheel to arch gap).
There are some very pretty cars out there. Nothing much in it - but driving a Rocco carries far more kudos. Most other cars in the same class shout ' look at me I'm pretty ' but the Rocco doesn't have to - it knows it's pretty. Far less arrogance about it. All the others just don't carry the same pzazz, but then again I'm an old romantic at heart.
