Misfire, DSG or Manual?

I want to buy a second hand scirocco 1.4 160HP.

Did you heard about a manual car that had replaced engine because of misfire?
Or fault cylinder?

You cannot get a manual 1.4 160 HP in the UK, they are all 7 speed DSG. If it is a 1.4 manual you are looking at then it is 122 HP version.

Its been available in the UK since January 2009!

There is plenty on the issues surrounding the 1.4TSi 160PS and misfire/engine replacement if you use the search. Its been a problem for some onwers.
