iPod glitch

Post by nuroc »

When I play my iPod through my RCD510 it sometimes plays a few seconds of the song before jumping back and playing the full song. It doesn't do this every time but it is very irritating!

Any ideas?

There are a couple of glitches like that. Another is a stutter in the first couple of seconds that happens maybe once every 10 tracks. I don't think they've ever been addressed in firmware updates unfortunately.

There's been some firmware updates for the MDI interface, and since I've updated I've not had the stutter that I used to get occasionally.

Might sort it out.

I thought the latest update had cured the stutter, but it has still happened to me (though not as often).

I had similar problems, I complained to VW and they fitted my Scirocco with a Denison Gateway iPod interface, not to sure what model it is though. But I have had no problems at all, it works a lot faster, and it has a good search facility.
