I get very few jumps on my CD player - do you have rock-hard lowered suspension and 19" wheels? Could be a cause of jumps, or maybe it's Hartlepool's cratered roads?
Maybe you burnt the discs too fast and the player is having trouble reading them? I try burning on Nero at 16x burn speed. Some players don't kile discs that were burnt anywhere near top speed of drive/disc rating.

Like maisbitt says try burning the CD @ 2 x Speed as a test (this is the lowest most software will allow you to burn) also make sure the CD is of a good brand, not your 100 for £5 Asda job's as these can struggle in some audio players even though it will work fine in the computer

Also is it a CDR or a CDRW. Often CDRW's are no where near as good.

Re: MP3 CD wont play correctly on RCD 510
Mine are Maxell CD-Rs, and I burn no higher than 16 speed normally (although I didn't knock down the burner last time and did a 52 speed burn and it worked. Dodgy CD lens in yours maybe? Try one of those discs with a 'tache on them that give the lens a buff.
Maxell/TDK/Verbatim are usually the best discs to be getting.
Also, are you re-encoding "normal" CDs to MP3 format "on the fly", or are your MP3s saved to the computer first before you burn? That can make a big difference, as well as not doing anything on your computer really intensive while you burn (might see your buffers deplete during the burn).

haha you would be surprised what i see people putting in their cars. Last year i had to fish hook out one of those micro CD's from a Volvo .. it was a CD for installing printer drivers .. how does that even get in a car ?! Like maisbitt says stick to the knowns: Sony/Maxell/TDK/Verbatim and like Kev says CD-R not RW etcreefman wrote:Juniorbanks - Do you think I'm the sort of guy to get a drum from Asda ? ........ now where did I put that receipt I want my fiver back Guess I'll have to try a different brand - now wheres my closest Tesco

Mp3 cd on TDK all the way at X4 burn. 320kps always. Never fail. Never burn on the fly, alot of nasty results.
