Insurance Companies & Mods
the do you or don't you declare the mods on cars went through my head, thought i'd check mine out with Bell before going on the slippery slope, change of springs was ok, very tiny increase but they won't touch remaps, couldn't believe it as had plans to have both our cars done, hoping greenlight come up trumps so i can switch for the roc at least

Andy - try Adrian Flux if all else fails... they were the only one's that would touch my highly modded 306 cabby (V6 engine transplant / NOS etc)

Re: Insurance Companies & Mods
You have to be really careful with insurance companies. The definition of "mod" varies wildly from insurer to insurer.
I remember ringing around a few years ago for my Mkiv Golf and some stated you were fine as long as it was something you could factory order or was was an approved dealer fit. However several wanted to charge more for The sports pack that was a factory order. others said it would be more for the dealer fit roof spoiler that nearly all MKiv's had on them. Also more than one other wanted extra for metallic paint.. can you believe it..
