Removing VW Badges?

Can anyone tell me how to remove the VW badges on the bonnet and boot - are they stuck on? Thanks.

you do realise they are recessed

now modified with dump valve, boost gauge in custom made vent, "gt" steering wheel badge, carbon fibre badges, rs4 wheels, lowered 35mm, private plate S18OCO, custom de-cat and cat back exhaust with quad tips, air filter behind fog lamp heat wrapped, customised front bumper grills painted gloss black, customised rear bumper smoothed and lower spoiler painted gloss black, mouldings and mirrors sprayed in gloss black, gloss black roof and rear spoiler, colour coded dash trims, door trims, centre console trims and rear seat trims, led fog light bulbs, s3 intercooler, audi a4 "S line" gear knob, newspeed hi-flow throttle body pipe, newspeed hi-flow turbo pipe, uprated dog mount bush, front to back and side to side quickshift, 20mm front spacers

I want to get mine in a polished black finish or if I can afford it will go for some Carbon Fiber ones like ryan, but If I go for CF then I'd want the wing mirrors to be wrapped in CF too. I want to do a few things to the car, but need to save up some first.

carbon fibre can become addictive :D , ive been adding some carbon touches to my MK1 & MK5 Golf :yes:

yeah, my next idea is the carbon fibre wing mirrors, and a front splitter at some point aswel, thats once i finish with the tinkering that im doin now

wing mirrors wont be cheap as they aint been done yet, maybe different mirrors, ie mk5 could be an option

I've been looking online on CF wrapping, so you send in the part you want and it comes back wrapped in CF - do you think that will be tacky? So I was thinking to get some replacement mirror covers and get them CF wrapped.

are getting done with the wheels. Are you getting new badges or putting the old ones back on?

I'd thought about this too. I think it will look good, as the mirrors will blend with the glass :yes:

wrapping using makes the profile slightly larger thats the only thing

the wing mirrors are the same as the new passat, so if you can find carbon fibre ones of them, then thats that solved, but i highly doubt people will be making them yet. i recon it will cost around 4-500 for the mirrors to be done

Black mirrors may look just about as good. Carbon bonding of the rear diffuser may look good too.

Yes probably just in case they don't come out they way I wanted them, so better to test on some new badges than to ruin the ones on my car :D
The only thing stopping me at the mo is finding someone to do CF wrapping in the UK, I've only seen places in the US that will offer this service.
