Wipers scratched windscreen HELP!!

Hi guys iv had my roc since march and my wipers have recently left three faint lines across my windscreen.....they don't come off. its scratched it


the wiper blades look fine i don't know if its grit off the road but i need to get these rid

auto glass dont remove scratches...... what do i do????

You have most likely picked up some grit under the wipers which has probably gone by now, but run your fingers down the offending blade just to check.

Scratches can be removed from glass by using a special polish which is fine on a rear side window say, but not recommended for the windscreen as it may well cause optical distortion. You will always get scratches on the windscreen so you would have to replace it regularly.

As above, really hard to sort and can change the optics of the screen that are worse that the scratches, only way to sort if it bothers you that much is a new screen

I've had the same problem so I can appreciate your annoyance! I remember the day it happened I could hear the small stone scratch across the windscreen. It happend last winter on a motorway that was recently gritted.

Annoying but not much you can do about it

Normal wear and tear.

The car won't stay 100% perfect forever. . . .

you'll prop notice even more faint marks on your rear screen which are more pronounced due to the darker tint

i've got over this, moved on and no longer lose sleep over it

Hahaha.... I'm soooo annoyed someone dented my side panel in a retail park.

Iv even thought of cracking windscreen just to pay 70 excess to get new screen put in

But I don't think I'll be doing that. Mrs already shouted at me for suggesting it

Ahh welll 2010 plate is no longer new.
