Leaving home will cos switch set on Auto, coming home ... well obviously it can be done then ! It is annoying having to flash the lights for it to work.

There seem to be some odd changes floating around, i tried to get the big Speed in the MFD today by changing the Instruments to "Rest of the world" but it didnt add a large speedo on mine, and it does on others !

I have not changed it. Light switch sat in Auto, and I kn ow they work, as I sometimes curse them when unloading the car post work, and they go off after the period on my DIS (20 secs I think)

Leaving Home work just fine too, I always open car at work when about 50 feet away to marvel at the Xenons...............Sad but true!

It's so much better than having to flash the headlights. Shame it doesn't work on our Passat CC too.

I have just tested.

If i open the car, the LH lights activate, if i then lock the car, without opening the door or touching anything, the CH lights stay off.

I have unlock, and switch the ignition on (don't have to start the car) the CH lights activate.

I have not VCDS'd the car, long coding below, if Blue posts his pre and post codes we can do some investigations.

DAR's C/Elect coding: 46100A389825E10040080080340048E643750B88737D8D60E48040000000

I wonder if people got fed up with folk saying "you've left your lights on" when parking up - had that more than a few times when I had my Leon.
