Accelerator wires

Just noticed this evening that behind the accelerator the wires are showing is this the same in yours? Looks kind of cheap?

Other than loving my first full day of ownership

Ideal, want to for another drive but will leave that for an early one tomorrow.

The MKV gti's were the same as is my rocco. A bit poor but I never had any problems with them getting in the way.
Taken delivery : Silver, DSG, NAV, Black Leather, Park Sensors, Winter pack.

Mods: Full Milltek, KW lowering springs,Wheel Spacers, Remapped to 258BHP, 405Nm

I just saw them once it went dark and the floor was illuminated.
I wouldn't have noticed if nobody had said anything.
