RNS brightness...

Post by maq »

Another question I'm afraid...

My new Roc has an RNS-510.. Whilst playing through the menus, the unit suddenly went ultra bright... I've tried the brightness menus and unfortunately it doesnt seem to have any effect in toning down the brightness, which is almost unbearable for nightime driving. There's 5 or 6 brightness settings but none make any difference. I've even tried resetting the unit, and still its like a super nova!

Anyone experienced this? Any tips?

Thanks

there is a sensor, i think towards the top right of the unit, try covering it with something for abit & see if that helps
