plastic wheel nut adapter

Post by skyblues11 »

I only noticed this when i took off the wheels to clean/ wax them prior to winter.

does the 'Roc comes with an adapter that you can plug into the wheel nut after you have undone them?

Its to make it easier to unscrew after the nut have been loosened, and vice versa.

in my old car it was a plastic piece, a bit like the security wheel nut adapter.

Ahhh yes yes, i remember. i know what happened!!

Thanks RW1. i remember using it once a long time ago around Feb 10, then it disappeared and i only realised over the weekend, that something was missing from the kit supplied.

i could not figure it out what it was until seeing your picture.

After several phone calls to 4 different people, it turned out that my nephew had borrowed it soon after i lasted used it.

it somehow turned up buried in my cousins' toolbox....

Back in th'old days, it was usually stuck in the end of the hollow tube end of the wheel nut brace.
