Standard Tyres

Is a particular brand of trye agreed between VW and the tyre manufacturer when a new Roc is delivered?

I.e. do all new Sciroccos come on the same tyres?

If so what are they and how do people rate them? If not why not?

it seems VW buy in & fit whatever is cheapest at the time, standard Scirocco's (ie not R's) have mostly come out fitted with Pirelli P Zero Rosso, Dunlop SP Sport tyres or Bridgestone Potenzas

there is some previous discussion on here about the different standard tyres, sadly you don't get a choice in what you get fitted.

By the sounds of things anything but the P Zero Rosso will be a good deal!

its a monday, its only on 17" & 18" though

I guess this would make sense if all new vehicles on 17/18" + come with self sealing tyres

To be honest I am not to sure whats going on because it says in the 2011 updates the Contiseals however in Searchin4aRoc doesn't have them on his.
