Both units play WMA files, true. Does anyone know whether the headunit can handle WMA lossless filetype? This is probably the best quality audio file as it is mathematically lossless. No point having Dynaudio then listening to lower bit rate MP3's. I really hope this is the case, i just found out my PS3 doesn't!
Any ideas before i invest too much time creating a WMA lossless collection for my Rocco when it arrives only to find they are not compatible?
Thanks...

Thanks Iroc, just been scanning through the RNS510 manual i downloaded and spotted that info. Unless anybody has tried this setup i think i am going to have to take my HDD into my local dealer and give it a try before i commit to ripping too many tracks.

As the manual says Variable bit rate work great as do the 320 Kbps files. I am dissapointed though that the lossless file was not recognised which is a real bummer! I had hoped to use lossless files to get the most out of the Dynaudio setup. Unfortunately i didn't have enough varied music or time to properly analyse which ones sounded the best. Variable bit rate and 320 Kbps seem to around the same file size. Hopefully Lossless support will be added at a later date, at least the PS3 / RCD510 are compatible with the same filetypes so i can use one HDD with both devices.
