Actuator stuck

Post by MarRocco »

Had my car for 3 days and it's developed a fault where the left side of the cabin blows hot air all the time irrespective of the temperature setting.
VAGCOM shows:
Address 08: Auto HVAC
1 Fault Found:
9473137 - Motor for Left Temperature Flap
B108C 71 [008] - Actuator stuck

Guess it's off to the dealers :( - Anybody got any idea whether it's likely to be a big job?

I guess it could be a faulty motor. Might be worth ringing the dealers ahead of time so that I've they've heard of the problem they may be able to order in parts for you if necessary.

Hope it gets sorted soon!
