I've noticed in some pics that various RNS 510 units have different coloured screens. Mines is currently set to Migraine Red, is there a way to change it?

Re: RNS 510 colour
I might be wrong but you may have confused the standard Radio RCD 510 with screenshots of the Sat Nav RNS 510 version, as far as I know you can't change the colour scheme (skin) on the RCD 510.
Also if anyone else can help, by holding the night/day button on the MFD2 in my Golf I could turn the display off but still listen to music, the RCD 510 isn't as distracting but I'd sometimes like the screen to be off but still be able to play music, I don't think you can do this, but if anyone knows otherwise please share.

I think you are right rehmondo the RNS has different colours for the different functions.
Doesn't appear you can turn the screen off. You can turn the MFD off though.

Re: RNS 510 colour
Yeah I had the MFD off by accident one day, it felt broken lol I need that on to display which gear I'm in with the DSG.
What I tend to do is manual drop a gear when I see a hill coming etc - that works really well especially since the paddles work without being in manual mode - this is a great feature 10/10 VW for allowing this.
There is something really cool about the interior when all you can see are the dash lights and the lights around the console but the console isn't lit up but you can hear music, I wish there was a way.
