Silly quick question, is the glovebox opening damped?
Mine just drops like a stone and I can't remember for the life of me whether this is how it was when I bought it?
Don't really use it that much, hence the confusion. Cheers.

Re: Glovebox?
Mines damped. Think if you search on here there is a few topics about duff glovebox damping, some small bit breaks and they replace it under warranty usually, from what I've read before. This happened on my previous car too, but it had a different damping system.

Cheers, I searched this section, but found nothing. I'll do a wider search and give the dealer a call.

Re: Glovebox?
its the white cog of death, your glove box loses damping & a little white cog appears in the front footwell. go see the dealer & get it resplaced under warranty as Alan has said

Re: Glovebox?
Yes, I had this issue. Glove box opening should be damped. Mine was and then one day just started to fall open witgh such force taht it bounced a few times at the bottom. Got it replaced under warranty.alanstead wrote:Try in General, I think evilderboy had this prob, try under "what dont you like about your roc"
