2009 2.0 Tdi
My Aircon does not seem to be working. I only got the car in March and I'm fairly sure it was working then. I have fitted an aftermarket head unit.
A couple of months ago I realised that the aircon wasn't working, so my initial thought was a regas as I hadn't used it. I have had this done but it still wasn't working. Whilst they did it they checked for codes and there were no codes relating to the Aircon system, there were however codes relating to the head unit (Canbus does work with the head unit as everything else is fine and I have the correct protocol running).
I have spoken to a Car Audio specialist and my mechanic and no one has heard of a head unit effecting AC.
When I switch Aircon on the compressor works but doesn't turn off when I turn the aircon off, however the fan doesn't start. I have checked the relevant fuses and they all seem ok!
Any ideas?
