Windscreen Wiper Issues

Hi all, the windscreen wipers on my 2010 Volkswagen Scirocco GT do not work when the car is stationary, but starts working when the car is moving. Any suggestions what this issue may be? Thanks

There is no issue, that's normal operation. If the wipers are switched on at either speed, they will stop while you are stationary and resume when you start moving. However, if you have them set to the rain sensing position (1 click up) they will continue to wipe periodically while stationary.
