Picked up my 2008 GT TSI a few weeks back and the lack of functionality on the standard RCD510 is already frustrating me with no Bluetooth, no USB and no DAB, all of which I have been used to in previous cars.
I’ve previously had aftermarket head units but just want a OEM fix this time around so the RCD360 seems to tick the box and seems to be a plug and play (?) with Apple Car Play for less than £250 which seems great value.
Any views, etc on the RCD360 or photos of it fitted in a Roc?
Has anyone fitted the RCD360?

Did you end up getting the RCD360?
Contemplating installing that or the RCD330.

Re: Has anyone fitted the RCD360?
I just fitted an RCD330, the RCD360 is a fake unit not OEM if that bothers you. I laboured over finding an original part, but in hindsight I'm not sure why I cared as all of the decent knock-offs seem to do a good job of appearing to be OEM anyway. I didn't realise how tiny the original RNS315 screen was until I set the new one up, and I'm so glad I did it. Everything works as expected (except DAB) and is a massive improvement.
