Bit of a multi faceted issue here . My battery recently ran flat to the point of needing a new battery when ive fitted a new battery the ability to unlock my car with the fob has gone (changed the battery in the fob and nothing still), also opening the boot with the boot opening switch on the drivers side door annnd also the ability to open the passenger side window from the driver side are both not working. Im thinking maybe its fuses being blown when a new battery has been fitted or possibly coding issues however i dont know of either for certain, has anybody come across anything similar for any of the issues?
Have you tried disconnecting / reconnecting the battery?
I know when I replaced my battery I was getting a few strange things happening and after disconnecting / reconnecting the battery they disappeared. I just assumed that one or more modules hadn't reset properly. It's certainly worth a try if you haven't.
