New member questions

Post by Cliff J »

Hey all,

I’m looking for a 2.0 TSi in January, sadly my budget is only about £7500 max.
I want DSG, in white too, so my choice is a little limited.

I have a few questions.. I have looked about but cannot get definite answers.
Can anyone answer any of these please?

1. What is the standard turbo PSI or Bar?
2. What is the stage 1 remapped PSI or Bar?
3. What does a DSG remap do or feel like?
4. Expected Stage 1 power, 250ish BHP?
5. Do any 2.0 TSI’s have Xenons or DRLs?

If anyone has a 35mm drop on 18s or 19s I would love to see them please.

Cheers all

Cliff

Alright mate,

I've got a 2.0 TSI DSG in white with a 35mm drop on it with 19" alloys, I've posted a few photos here for you to see the difference

As for the other questions I don't know much about, however on the Revo website they give a before and after guess of hp after each stage of a map. It also gives a rundown of what a DSG remap does too.

Also I paid £7800 for mine, with 70k miles, sunroof & leather heated seats, so you can find good deals out there, it's also a DSG

Appreciate the reply. The 35mm on 19s looks perfect, I am actually toying with 18s for more tyre as well.

They've also got wheel spacers on too & I highly recommend them. Makes the car look perfect in my opinion
