I just bought replica side skirts from some german website.. Ive done some research on mounting and done research which ones to get, because some sell side skirts without door trim. Anyway the question is.. how the hell do you mount that thing? I mean I know there are clips on the underbody, but what do you do with the lower side of the car? Do you just glue those in place? I found a scirocco repair manual on the internet and I found out that there is something called "retaining strip" that screws on the lower side of the body, which holds it in place (?) Im definitely not into drilling holes into the car..
I found forums here that only suggest using adhesive to hold them in place (?) I would kindly ask for some help experienced scirocco owners
Any kind of help really.. If someone can snap a picture of the underbody and the clips so that I get a rough idea how those are placed 
I will post pictures with steps on how to do this (if I make it that is..), because there is really so few informations on how to do this everywhere I looked..
