Oil level 2.0 TSI

Post by 207904 »

Hello,

I am a bit confused how to properly read the dipstick that I have in 2.0 tsi. Where is the maximum level to which the oil could be filled?

My current oil level is just right before the MAX see attached picture. Overfilled?

Thank you in advance!

If the oil is at where you have drawn the red line, then yes its overfilled however, to me from your photo the oil level is spot on the max line and where you have drawn the line is just residue marking the dipstick. Either way, I wouldnt worry too much about it as if it's actually at the red line it is just slightly overfilled and as a consequence unlikely to cause any issue.

Yes, the oil level is exact at the red line ( I have checked several times on different surfaces). To me it also feels a bit overfilled, but yeah I will continue driving as the overfill is not that critical.
