Time for a change so after just shy of 5 years ownership, I’ve traded in my beloved Roc R at Lancaster BMW in Milton Keynes for an X2 M Sport.
If anyone wants a high specced R then you won’t go far wrong with this, one of the early facelift models from late 2014. I bought it as a 6-month-old demonstrator with 1300 miles on the clock and it now has only 23,000 at sale.
The car is a DSG in Rising Blue in super condition, with Recaro (heated) Seats, Pano roof, Dynaudio, Keyless entry/start, RNS510 Sat-Nav, 90% rear privacy glass, Black Gloss power folding mirrors, Vodaphone Tracker, and Full VW Service History. I’ve included all the documents and receipts with the sale and even the relevant manufacturers brochure of the day in the handover.
I don’t know where the car will end up (auction?) but I’d love to think it finds a good home, so if it’s seen on sale anywhere please drop a note on the forum. If anyone on here is lucky enough to buy it, I’d be happy to take any queries on the vehicle history (in case the dealer doesn’t pass on all the griff I left with it) via pm.

Yeah thanks dude. Seems like mostly American posters so probably won't be delving too much into that.

So thought I'd give the front end a bit of a change. Took some pics and worked it through photoshop first to see if it would look ok. Must say, I'm very pleased with the result, and all for a £6 can of Plastkote off Amazon. Its the first time I've really done this type of thing with a car, and shit myself with taking the bumper off, but all in all very happy
Now what next.....

Well I changed both my front dampers, top mounts and drop links. The top mounts were not bad but the drop links were shot.
What a pain to change the dampers[emoji36]. Driveshaft bolt. Ball joint bolts, damper pinch bolt and the getting to the top mount bolts[emoji36]. But; took my time and it paid off. I thought I had a rear end noise but it was the near side drop link. Popped off in my hand from the joint[emoji15]
