Scirocco 2.0 tdi chfc (first start problems)
I have a 2012 scircco 2.0 tdi cr 140 chfc engine.
Having issues when engine goes cold after couple hours having ling crank times.
This mainly happens when not on flat surface slightly inclined or declined.
Had several things replaced.
Crank sensor (genuine)
Air mass flow sensor
Several torque sensors
Coolant temp sensor
Injectors tested
Recon turbo
Air filter
Fuel filter
Fuel pump in the tank.
Still having the issue nothing showing up.
Once its hot and running it starts perfect everytime without fail.
Anyone have any ideas.??
Im thinking taking to VW specialist next week

Have you checked the glow plugs?
The incline / decline is an odd one

Start making a log while starting the car of all the sensors you can select.

Also had another problem wether its related im unsure. When i had it at the remapping place. Was only making power when increasing fuel to point it smoked hard. But its had leak of test and compression test etc checked all things to make sure that its getting air. Turbo and actuator been tested also. Wether two thing go hand in hand im unsure. Only done 50k things cursed.

Ive replaced the lift pump. Wondering could/do they have a electric in line pump. I know they have high pressure pump on the crank aswell.?

Yes there is, but start doing proper logging / diagnose as mentioned.
Just replace every bit of your engine is not a good starting point.
Measure low and high fuel pressure, starter rpm, camshaft position and engine coolant sensors output.
And fault scan ofcourse.

Bit of a update. Checked everything not having luck its been in at a VW specialist they did numerous tests had the injectors tested a secind time still passed. They talk to VW themselves and still think its a injector problem.so got set of secind hand injectors and rail going to test that.

Changed injectors and fuel rail still having the issues. No fault cides or irregular values. At a loss with this now.
When car starts forst time with rough idle when turned off for 4 hours or more most times.
When car is run then re started within 2 to 4 hours say almost always cranks for long time.
