Well, after having these fitted to my DRL's since the beginning of October one of the LED's has started to flicker so I will be asking for a full refund. Anybody got any recommendations of a more reliable white coloured bulb for this location that is likely to last longer than 6 weeks?

So, the previous owner had painted the original red mirror caps on the GTS in Deep Black Pearl to match the car body but had not made a very good job of it. There were signs of the original red showing through tiny pin holes in the paint and now my pressure washer has took the clear coat off. Would you guys stick to the Deep Black Pearl and do you think it would be cheaper to get them re-sprayed or find new caps in the right colour???

Car went is at Vertu VW today for a complimentary health check before warranty expires, quote on sorting the mirrors and fix the rear screen problem under warranty. Got this out of the blue via email, great idea.

Got to go back in next week for new rear screen under warranty as easier to do that than replace the faulty heating elements.

However, they dont have a bodyshop and can only get primed mirrors so cant help me on that one???

Might be worth remaining patient mate - Black mirrors crop up on here from time to time. Otherwise might be other places, but wouldn't have thought it would be hundreads to get them resprayed :)

Are any of the other VW makes front and rear emblems interchangeable with the scirocco? Really want a set of these for front and back but they do them for everything apaprt from the Scirocco from what I can find and the Roc's badge sizes seem to be completely unique.

Well after a busy week I now have the Milltek non-res catback fitted, upgraded gfb dv+ and Stage 1 live custom map by R-tech. Good job I was having the diverter valve upgraded anyway thanks to advice from others on here and the FB forum as the original one was knackered before R-tech started and had very little resistance compared to what it should have been. To say that I am pleased with the results is an understatment, car is now epic, one more horse that a staock pre-facelift R!!!
