Spare wheel plastic bolt in boot

Post by mrhirst »

Hi everyone

A bit of a random one.... The other day I started noticing a metallic rattle coming from the rear of the car while driving over small bumps in the road. Thankfully it's not broken suspension, it is instead the spare wheel moving around the boot. The plastic bolt that keeps the wheel in place has snapped.

Does anybody know the part number or if I can get a cheap one online somewhere? Google isn't giving me any helpful results!!

Might be one of those things where you have to go to the dealer for. I know the thing you mean, looks like a cog/sprocket.

Even that is probably a good £30 but maybe not much cheaper if you are able to source one from somewhere else.

It'll be an OEM part so only available from TPS or a dealer.
