I spat out a pinion gear on my 1.9 TDI and that put a hole in the gearbox.
Dunno how you managed that.

Most boxes for your engine will have the same ratios.
The only thing you'd risk losing is the gear indicator in the cluster as different gearbox codes may have ever so slightly ratios.

Soo all the codes for my car for the gearbox should fit my car it's just different ratios as I thought it would be different fittings and different mount fittings cause ones I have looked at look different from the one I've got
